Went downhill because my friend wanted me to go out with them....I had a grilled chicken sandwich, fries and a coke from McDs.

Exercise was some housework...not enough to counter the McDs...

Well I finally got off my ass and started to do something (other than yardwork).

Leftover turkey on multigrain bread w/cheddar and condiments

Exercise

40 minutes walking while geocaching (about 2.5 miles)
30 lunges on each leg

1/2 can of lite peaches
1 Go Lean bar (about 180 calories)

I came home starving and ate too much food. If I'm hungry again I'm going to eat a yogurt for an afternoon snack to prevent this.

Chicken's First Day for Real

I didn't forget my gym bag today. Yay!! It is cold here and I'm not really excited about running tomorrow. :-(

Sick Chicken

I haven't been logging food or exercising because I am pretty sick. I haven't been eating terribly because I really haven't had much of an appetite. When I am ready I will start exercising and logging food again.

Salad w/baby carrots, ginger dressing and feta cheese

Dinner (at Bunko)

1 spring roll
4 pieces of tuna or salmon sushi
1 tbs of stirfried chicken w/veggies
3 yakitori
1 small glass of sake
1 small glass of white wine
1/2 piece of brownie w/coconut milk topping
1 gazillion steamed soybeans (yum)

No exercise again but at least I am doing a lot better on the food....exercise is next since I had to wear jeans for the first time in 8 months and they were tight and uncomfortable....nothing like that to get your ass motivated, huh?

I didn't end up at my house at all last week....and this lead to terrible eating and no exercise really....so instead of last Tuesday being my start....my start is tomorrow (Monday, and I always like to start at the beginning of the week so this will be better all around). Okay, today is the day of my start....I can't say that I will be perfect on everyday (in fact I am already off target for today) but I am saying that I am going to do my best, be determined to stick with it, and not kill myself if I mess up...I will just get back at it as best I can.

Starting Again

After my back injury I started slacking off big time. I wasn't eating very well either. So I decided to recommit this weekend. Unfortunately I slammed my toe into my bed post and I seriously thought it was broken. I don't think it is now and it feels better.

Yesterday I ate pretty well. I know I was over on my points though. I did circuit weight training for 50 minutes and it felt pretty good. Today I'm going to start the couch to 5k. My friend has been doing it and can run 20 minutes now! She said she couldn't run 1 minute before so the program is working.

Starting Fresh

I have been kind of hit and miss recently on logging my food and exercise. I have something coming up in the next few days that might help me get motivated to start a program and stick with it. So I will be back in full force soon....don't give up on me just quite yet.
