Starting Again

After my back injury I started slacking off big time. I wasn't eating very well either. So I decided to recommit this weekend. Unfortunately I slammed my toe into my bed post and I seriously thought it was broken. I don't think it is now and it feels better.

Yesterday I ate pretty well. I know I was over on my points though. I did circuit weight training for 50 minutes and it felt pretty good. Today I'm going to start the couch to 5k. My friend has been doing it and can run 20 minutes now! She said she couldn't run 1 minute before so the program is working.

Breakfast
1 onion bagel (not the huge ones from the cafeteria)4-5 points??
1 lowfat cream cheese 1 point

Lunch
WW Pasta Primavera 5 points

Exercise
25 minutes- week 1 workout - couch to 5k (I did it!)

Snack
2 pieces Lite Jarlsberg Cheese 2 points

Dinner
Pork loin sandwich 10 points
Stuffing 4 points

I ate over my points but I still have to figure out how many activity points I will get.

Sounds like a good plan Chicken...and I have always thought you would be a runner...

I think I might try that too...I just need to get my walking in consistently and doing that has been hard lately. I love you and you are doing great!!!!

It isn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. I have some sore muscles that I didn't know existed. The hard part will be on Saturday when it is raining.

Can you run at the gym on the treadmill on the rainy days?

The treadmill gives me shin splints for some reason.

Make sure you put at least .5 incline when you are on the treadmill especially if you are running because level actually makes your body feel like it is running slightly down hill and that would be what does your shins in...
