Today, I weighed myself at the gym (yes I was at the gym!!!!). It was the first time I have weighed myself in months....and definitely the first time since I started trying to lose weight but I know what I weighed this fall and if anything I gained more during the holidays before I started to diet.
Regardless, I weighed at least 165 this summer when I weighed myself last....today I weighed 160....so I have lost 5 pounds at least since the summer but I am starting to think it must be more than that since I know I was biggest right around the holidays....I just never weighed myself.
So even at the small end, I have lost at least 5 pounds...whooeee!!! I am feeling more motivated today...going to the gym and spending time at the beach for a second day in a row has really helped, and then getting on the scale really helped. So at least cutting back on my calories has worked and if I can get the exercise in there regularly...I'll be on my way to a fitter and better looking me.
