This Week for Mishka

Okay, things have been pretty hectic this week. I haven't been eating too much because I have barely been finding time to eat, but the exercising has been neglected. I am going to try for a walk today and then we'll see how it goes from there...things will be slowing down in the next day or so and I can get back on the program full force.

Mishka's Monday

Breakfast

Cereal w/1% milk
Tea w/sugar and milk
Persimmon

Lunch

Cup of wonton soup
100 g of steamed rice
1 serving of shredded chicken
Water w/diluted gatorade

Dinner

Veggie burger on english muffin w/slice of cheddar
1 serving of tortilla chips
1 serving of salsa
1 serving of grapes
Water w/diluted gatorade

Snack

2 handfuls of roasted almonds
1 8oz glass of 1% milk

The rain and the fact that I had tons of stuff to do around here derailed my exercise for today but I will get back at it tomorrow for sure and I hope to get two workouts in...

Mishka's Saturday

Exercise

2.2 miles, walking 3.8 mph, 40 minutes

Breakfast

3 egg white scrambled w/onion and garlic
1 serving of part skim mozzarella shreaded cheese
1 Lender's onion bagel toasted, dry
Water
1 Georgia coffee

Lunch

Water
6 pieces of bbq'd eel sushi
2 small chocolate chip cookies

Dinner

1 chicken wing
1 chicken drumstick
Brocolli salad
Artichoke dip
2 egg rolls
1 serving of yakisoba
1 small piece of birthday cake
Water

Exercise

Dancing at my bday party and at Club Red for 3 hours

I didn't think I was going to get two workouts in but with all the dancing I did!!!

Mishka's Friday

Breakfast

1 Lender's onion bagel with 1/2 serving of cc
Water

Exercise

Fun Run 5K (actually it was longer than a 5K, it was 3.4 miles), at 4.29 mph

Lunch

6 inch Subway on wheat w/no mayo
Diet Pepsi
Water
Thin slice of bday cake (because it was for my birthday)

Dinner (at Partylite party)

1 serving of tortilla chips with 2 tbs salsa, 2 tbs of guacamole, 2 tbs of bean dip
1 serving of spanish rice
1 serving of chicken enchiladas
1/2 serving of flan
Diet Dr Pepper
Water

I meant to go to the gym a second time this evening but the gym closed early. I will try to get a workout in during the morning and then maybe again in the afternoon. I have to work from 10-2pm and then I have my birthday party (along with the rest of the November girls) at night so we'll see how it goes...I might have to eat another snack so I can take some "vitamins" for Aunt F's visit.

6" Subway roastbeef on wheat

1 Yoplait Lite yogurt
3 servings of edamame (steamed soybeans)
6 pieces of bbq eel sushi roll

Exercise kind of got sidelined by errands that had to be dealt with but I was on my feet most of the day volunteering so I am sure I got a fair amount of walking in. Tomorrow I am walking a 5K race in the morning and I'll try to get a second workout in later in the day.

Exercise

Walked 40 minutes 2.6 miles

Breakfast

1 onion bagel w/cc
1 Georgia coffee

Lunch

1 serving of japanese fried rice
1 eggroll
1 serving of japanese sweet potato casserole
1 serving of tea
1 baked chicken drumstick
1 serving of daikon and mushroom salad

Exercise

20 minutes elliptical, hill profile, level 3
20 minutes recumbant, manual profile, level 3
Upper and lower back and bicep weight lifting

Dinner

1/2 cup of grapes
8 oz of 1% milk
1 serving of roasted unsalted peanuts
1 serving of japanese fried rice

I made up for not getting a workout in yesterday and I managed to play bingo with candy on the table not not touch any of it even though I was starving because I had not eaten dinner yet. I am pretty proud of myself for my hard work today.

1 serving of roasted garlic Triscuits

1 12oz glass of slightly sweetened iced tea

Dinner (at bunco)

Coucous
Beef kabob with tomato and onion
Green salad
Hummus
Pita bread
1/2 piece of cream cheese roll
Roasted pear with table spoon of ice cream
Coffee w/raw sugar and cream

My exercise was derailed today (went to the gym but didn't get the exercise in...explain that) but I will do double duty tomorrow to make up for it....

20 minutes on elliptical, level 3 hill profile
20 minutes on recumbant, level 3 manual
Chests, triceps and ab weight lifting
15 minutes in steam room

Dinner

1 slice of multigrain bread toasted with part skim mozzarella melted, sliced onion and tomato
1 Yoplait Lite with 1/2 serving of roasted unsalted peanuts
8 oz of 1% milk

Chicken's Monday

Mishka's Committment

Even though it is a holiday, I am starting a new program. I am desparate to lose some weight and get fit in a short amount of time (if I feel some results right away, it helps to keep my motivated), so I am committing to working out everyday (even twice a day if I can swing it in my schedule).

I am going through the fridge and tossing any crap that is left over from Halloween and anything else that looks like it would cause me to divert. Mostly I need to get the chocolate out of my house that is left over from Halloween...I know it is there and I keep talking myself into eating it.

I have been walking and riding my bike lately and doing tons of lunges but I haven't seen the inside of the gym in a while and I think I am due. Today it is raining and cooler (for here) so if I do get a walk in, it will be a wet one but I am thinking the gym is a for sure at some point today. I don't have anything else on my agenda but wrapping some Christmas presents, and cleaning house so it should be no problem.
