Checking In

Okay, time is mine again and I have about 11 weeks to get things back on track and make a difference in my fitness level. I am not really weighing more than before but I am definitely not as fit and it shows in my legs and tummy area. I am sick of it and it is time to get serious about it.

I can't promise I can get on here and log everyday what I am doing and eating but I am going to try. Sometimes the logging is more time consuming and I end up feeling guilty for not logging when in reality, I should just be happy to be moving around and getting back into shape. Guilt really should not be part of my plan.

I walked 9 holes with my clubs on my back two days this past weekend with my husband and we both sweated our butts off (it is in the high 80s on sunny days with humidity in the high 80s which leads to heat indexes over 100 degrees). Summer is definitely here.

I also walked with my friend the other morning for over an hour in the hot sun and ended up with a bit of a tan from it as well as getting some good exercise in. I think I will limit the outdoor activities to early morning and afternoon unless swimming is involved for the time being though because I don't want to be a heat exhaustion statistic either.
