New Year

Well I sure have gained a lot of weight in 2009. I haven't been taking care of myself and now I feel horrible. So like everyone else I have made a promise to myself to recommit to my healthy goals.

Today was my first day back to Circuit Weight class. I hadn't lost all of the strength that I had before but it was a bit difficult moving all of this extra weight around. I'm going to run on the days I'm not lifting and get back into the groove I was in.

In order for me to lose the weight I need to keep a food journal so I'm going to try and be consistent on logging my food.

I ate a bowl of Raisin bran this morning and had a Kashi bar as a snack. I'm eating left over Thai food for lunch which has too many calories but I don't want to waste it. I'll eat beef barley soup for dinner. I plan to log my food and points starting tomorrow.

I lifted for 45 minutes and rode a bike for 15 minutes.

Good for you Chicken....I am with you...I have a goal to lose 20 lbs by the end of the summer (although with weightlifting that might not be possible)...if I can just wear the clothes I wore when I was 20 lbs lighter, I will be happy...that would be fine with me...it would mean that I am fitter than I am now and it would also mean I would be happier with my body than I am now.

I have been pretty good recently in getting to the gym at least 3 times a week but I need to make it everyday if I want to see more results...the 10 lbs I lost before Christmas is helping to keep me motivated.

I love you and I know you can do it.

Good job sis. I think I put 10 pound on during the holidays alone. I completely lost control on food choices.

We can do it together. I want to be fit before I come and see you in Hawaii.
