Changing Things Up

I am changing things up a bit for myself...now that I feel I have an understanding of my portions and the balancing act, I am not going to be tracking calories everyday. I want to up my exercise to the point where I don't even have to worry about my food but until that day happens, I will continue to log my food (makes me more honest), and exercise, just won't be doing the calorie thing anymore.

Will try to get yesterday and today's stuff up later, when I have some more time...

Good luck! Figuring out all those calories must take a lot of time.

Yeah that is a lot of work. I think that after you start counting calories, or points you get a really good feeling of what is good/bad, too much/little.

Yeah, I figure at this point, I have a good idea of what things to avoid (or require more exercise if I indulge) and what portion sizes I should be looking at. J and I eat a ton of fresh veggies so that isn't an issue at all.

I can do the calories without having to count each thing...the other thing that helped me change my mind is that cooking actual things from scratch makes it harder to count and I have been so busy that figuring out each little thing is too time consuming.

I think I will be okay and if I feel like I am not getting there, I will get back to watching the calories. My biggest issue right now is fitting in enough workout...
